I am so proud of the work we have all done to make Crave 10th Anniversary edition a reality. What started as a conversation in my pool at the end of June between me, Ludo and Krissy just took off! And oh boy what a ride we had through the summer – photos shoots galore – both big and small – i.e. with 4 cooks in the kitchen preparing dishes and a stylist making them look lovely over 2 days in July to many days of extra shots cooked up in my home kitchen and shot at the kitchen table in a mini-studio.
It takes an army
We shot:And we ate (Okay so I loved the creme caramel so much I licked the plate clean) and even the families lent their support at the end of very long days.
Most of all we all had fun – it was a dream project and I loved every second of the creative craziness that comes with putting a cookbook together. I can’t wait to get the book in my hands – and I’m still cooking from it – last night I used the pastry recipe for my custard tart. This really is a book of classic recipes that you will use again and again (especially now it looks so pretty with lots of new photos by moi!).
